Cindy Snow Cindy prefers Nature Photography above all other forms. Her first exhibit was shared with two other local photographers at the historic Tabor Wing House in Dover Plains, N.Y. “Earths Crammed with Heaven”, became the catapult that encouraged Snow to co-create Eastern Provinces Photographic Society Inc. An organization that finds local talent and creates venues to showcase there works. “Student art naturally became a part of our organization, as we searched out local artists, and began to share our work with the community.” Several successful exhibits later, the organization has begun the process of becoming a not for profit organization. Snow’s work has also appeared on Green Peas tv.tv, JPG Magazine, and Art East Studio Tour. Ellie Haggerty My art was inspired by my love for the Carousel and it’s music. I started in 1991 by making a few band organ facades and rounding boards. Then in between manufacturing children’s lamps for 5 years, I continued my carousel art and also restored 4 antique carousel horses. After retiring I went gung-ho and now create all the time. I have sold a few and did 2 commissioned pieces, but my (claim to fame) :o) 6 pieces were sold to Warner Brothers for the set of “The Gilmore Girls”. I have a website www.Carouselfolkart.com I must apologize if you visit that I have not kept it up as I should have.
